I love Christmas. I always have and hopefully I always will. The holiday season just makes me happy.  I am one of those people who puts their tree up early and takes it down late – usually at the end of January. I typically start decorating the weekend after American Thanksgiving but this year I was sick with some bug so I was not able to. Bah, humbug!

I am feeling better, so this weekend, I will be putting up my tree, and will start to decorate my home. I like to Christmas it up in all of the rooms of the house. Yes even my bathroom. ‘Tis the season to be jolly so you can’t blame me!

I really don’t need any new Christmas décor. I have enough and even have some to spare!  I already have a gorgeous CANVAS Christmas tree and decorations. I decided to go with traditional red and green décor because my home is mainly white and it needed a pop of colour.

I am on a path of getting rid of all the clutter in my life and to spend less. More specifically, I plan on spending less on my “wants” and to spend mainly on my “needs”. That was until I walked into the Canadian Tire Christmas store on Eglinton and Laird in Toronto. I was so tempted to fill up my shopping cart with either the new mulberry decorations or a combination of the white and silver decorations. I had to stop myself, but it didn’t mean I couldn’t buy anything new? Thanks goodness for my Canadian Tire Triangle points card! I like to save up my points for large purchases so I was in luck. It didn’t even cost me anything! The CANVAS resin reindeer head was the one item I could not live without. I already have the CANVAS silver deer so this would be a nice addition. They had the reindeer head right in the Christmas tree! Don’t you just love that?
