#TheMotherhood

It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child; this has probably never been more true than it is today.

We live in a different world than our parents and grandparents. Today’s world is extremely face-paced and pressure-packed. Parenthood can be an intimidating, never ending undertaking. A healthy support system, The Motherhood, is now recognized as being, not only very welcome, but an integral component of modern child rearing.

As Mother’s Day is right around the corner, what better time to celebrate “The Motherhood” – the amazing group of people who help mom raise her family, which we know can be hard work. Campbell’s wants to recognize the people who help you, and welcome them to #TheMotherhood.

This Mother’s Day, Campbell’s has commissioned a survey and is asking the question “who helps you mom?”

Results of the survey show that 72% of respondents agree or strongly agree that a child’s life is positively influenced by many people outside of his or her own mother.

More than half (52%) felt that the more people who support them in child rearing, the better they can be as a parent. In fact, millennial moms across Canada seek support from their “Motherhood” for a variety of reasons:

  • 42% want their child to be more socialized
  • 37% do so for a little more “me” time
  • 36% engage their network for emotional support

Campbell’s wants to hear your stories about the great people in your life and why they’re important to you.

To illustrate the beauty of The Motherhood, Campbell’s is launching a series of three heart-warming videos featuring real families sharing their personal stories about the people who help them. {You may want to grab some tissues!} :
