Mom bloggers abound in almost all parts of the world and Britain is definitely no exception. If you are a blogger in Britain you are probably very familiar with BritMums. Started in 2008 by Susanna Scott and Jennifer Howze , it is now the UK’s largest collective of lifestyle bloggers and digital influencers. Susanna, who came from a background in marketing, started BritMums when she wanted to create a networking space for bloggers. She has since been named a top female entrepreneur and her blog, A Modern Mother , is one of the top ten in the UK.   Jennifer was previously an editor at The Times and originated its Alpha Mummy blog – ranked as a top 10 UK blog – before launching and, of course, BritMums.

BritMums is not only a social media influencer but they also offer relative editorial content, online forums and groups, in person meet-ups and conferences as well as a large and active community.  Beginner bloggers can find advice and tools to help them build their blog while veteran bloggers can support and connect with others.  The community includes over 5,000 social media networkers with over 8,500 blogs.

Besides being a community and networking power house for bloggers throughout the United Kingdom,  the BritMums blog itself can tout the fact that it is one of the country’s top blogs and online magazines.  Annually the site coordinates BritMums Live, the country’s largest annual blogger conference. If that isn’t enough, they also run an annual social media awards program called BIB(Brilliance in Blogging) . Their video content BritMumsTV and the BritMums How To’s ensure that their influence is covering all the bases. To top it off they offer an additional level of  membership for bloggers who wish to patner with brands. The BritMoms Pro network is designed to connect bloggers and brands who wish to work together.

The BritMims Live annual conference will be held this year on Friday June 21st through Saturday June 22nd at The Brewey, London. You can follow the BritMums on Twitter, on Facebook and GooglePlus.
