Between April and September 2016 Ikea Canada will be launching three limited lines: GILTIG to be released in April, with GLÖDANDE following in June, and SVÄRTAN in September.

This is the first time that Ikea has teamed up with European fashion designers to create three innovative and trendy furniture and decor that will look great in your home.

Try all three collections, I sure I know I will. I’m going to get the GILTIG tea cups and saucers. So let’s check them out.

GILTIG Collection

Designed by London-based menswear designer Katie Eary, GILTIG has colourful tableware and textiles created to turn brighten up your home.The table cloth will always make you feel like you have a full dinner table. GILTIG is out now!

GLÖDANDE Collection

Created by Water Van Beirendonck, GLÖDANDE is a collection of ready-to-cut fabrics, rugs, paper stationary, pillow, porcelain that showcases a playful and avant-garde flair. This collection would be great for the kids’ bedroom.

The collection is based on a narrative on a gang of characters called the Wondermooi. The story’s premise is that Wondermooi promotes love, peace, and happiness. The collection is due out in stores in June.  

SVÄRTAN Collection

IKEA and Swedish textile designer Martin Bergstrom has created the SVÄRTAN collection of bed linens, textiles, rugs, bowls, and glassware. Inspired by just black, white and shades of grey with a modern interpretation of Indian culture. The collection set to be available in stores across Canada on September 1.
