I know, its hard to believe that a fast-food joint could ever make an impact on a teenagers teen years, but it did. Working there was about experience, attitude and determination. Mc Donalds really makes sure their employees feel secure, comfortable, involved in charity and education. The main thing I remember about my experience there was the constant coming together for group meetings and huddles focused on improvement and charity work. I really felt like I was part of a family. Mc Donalds takes care of their staff as well as the organizations they create and follow. After, 4 long years spent learning and engaging in Mc Happy Day, I can sincerely say that this is a day of celebration and charity for a great purpose.
Mc Happy day is a day whereby all Mc Donald’s chain stores donate $1 from every Big Mac Sandwich, Happy Meal and hot Mc Cafe Beverage to local children’s charities such as Ronald Mc Donald House. As a parent today, I could’t think of any better way than to spend a day of fun, activities (varies by location) and purpose.
…and indulge in a bit of ‘yumminess’ while you’re at it 😉 See you there!
