If you’re anything like me, you’ve eaten numerous times at McDonalds but never really noticed or paid attention to anything to do with Ronald McDonald’s House. I guess I’m lucky, never having to utilize their facilities in a time of need but a lot of people do and what Ronald McDonald’s House does for these families is phenomenal.
Ronald McDonald Houses provides a home away from home for the families of seriously ill children who are staying at a nearby hospital. The help and relief that that can provide for a family is immense.
Last year alone McHappy Day® raised $3.4 Million dollars. With your help, we can shatter that amount and show families in need that we really do care.

This is how: on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 more than 1,430 McDonald’s restaurants in Canada will donate $1 from every Big Mac® sandwich, Happy Meal®, Premium Roast Coffee and Premium Tea sold to local charities like Ronald McDonald House. So grab the kids, cousins, uncles, aunts, long lost, recently reunited, extended family, friends, colleagues, enemies and acquaintances – EVERYONE AND ANYONE!
